As a Solutions Architect or Solutions Consultant you act as a link between Sales, Product and Project teams. You work closely with those colleagues to identify customer needs and requirements, mapping those onto our SaaS product and Furthermore, you are evaluating special customer requests, integrations to 3rd-party-tools (e.g. CRM, ERP, Marketing Automation etc.) and deviations from our core product as well as finding suitable technical solutions.

Your tasks

  • Support customer acquisition and be the point of contact for technical questions (via email and online meetings) 
  • Analyze customer requests and requirements and map those to the technical possibilities in our SaaS platform
  • Create solution concepts during the sales process to ensure an efficient and high-quality project delivery
  • Create technical specifications and prioritize the project scope
  • Support Software Developers during the implementation of your concepts and technical specifications
  • Act as a link between Sales, Product, Delivery and Customer Success and support the communication and knowledge sharing between those functions
  • Optimize together with other colleagues our solutioning, pre-sales and scoping processes

Your Profile

  • Technical education (min. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, business informatics, mathematics, engineering, or similar)
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical conceptualization role in Software (or SaaS), online technologies, e-Commerce, online recruiting, job boards, or similar platforms; incl. direct contact with (potential) customers
  • You have experience in similar roles (e.g. Solutions Architect, Requirements Engineer), knowledge about online technologies or two-sided/multi-sided platforms (e.g. e-Commerce, Marketplaces, Classifieds, Job Boards, etc.)
  • Excellent German and English skills (C1, C2 or native)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You have a talent to translate technical jargon into a customer-friendly language and to discuss the value and the benefits with clients instead of features
  • You are interested in supporting the sales process with technical expertise and in working closely with a non-technical Sales team and potential customers
  • Analytical skills: You find it easy to turn customer requests in technical solutions
  • Excellent skills in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google G-Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
  • You appreciate working in cross-functional teams

  • Your possible start date: flexible, start possible at anytime
  • Flexible Location: Vienna, Linz, Bratislava or remote within Europe, hybrid models also possible
  • Flexible working hours: preferred full-time (38,5 hrs/w), part-time possible as well (20, 32 or 36 hrs/week)
  • The minimum salary for this role is in Austria governed by the collective agreement for IT Services and starts from 36,890,- € gross per year (full-time, 38,5 hrs/week, task group ST1, entry level). The salary range for this role that we can offer is 42.000,- € to 56.000,- € gross per year (full-time position in Vienna, 14 salaries), depending on qualification, skills and relevant work experience. We offer a variable, performance oriented compensation on top for experienced candidates or if you'd like to take over more responsibility in the sales process.
