About the role SaaS Solution Consultant

As a SaaS Solution Consultant, you are responsible for the requirement analysis, technical solutioning, and estimations, and you are supporting the calculation and shaping of proposals. You are working closely with our Sales Team but also with our Solution Architects, our Product Team, and the Delivery Team to identify customer needs and map those to the features and possibilities of our SaaS product. Furthermore, you are evaluating special customer requests, integrations to 3rd-party tools (e.g. CRM, ERP, automation etc.) as well as deviations from our core product.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting in winning customers that are a good fit for our standard SaaS product
  • Requirements analysis and mapping to the technical possibilities of our product
  • Creating solution concepts during the sales process to guarantee an efficient and high-quality project delivery
  • Creating technical specifications and prioritization of the project scope
  • Building strong relationships with other teams (Sales, Product, Project, Customer Success) and supporting the communication and knowledge sharing between those functions
  • Identifying and owning initiatives that support the solutions, pre-sales, and scoping process

Job requirements

Skills and Requirements

  • Technical education (min. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, business informatics, mathematics, engineering, or something similar)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical conceptualization role in Software (or SaaS), online technologies, e-Commerce, online recruiting, job boards, or similar platforms; incl. direct contact with (potential) customers
  • Experience in similar roles like Solutions Engineer and knowledge about online technologies as well as two-sided/multi-sided platforms (e.g. e-Commerce, Marketplaces, Classifieds, Job Boards, etc.)
  • High interest in supporting the sales process with technical expertise and in working closely with a non-technical sales team
  • High motivation to work in cross-functional teams
  • Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google G-Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • High analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English (both in speaking and writing)

More details and benefits

  • Start date any time, various locations possible: Vienna, Linz, Bratislava but also fully remote
  • Flexible working hours: preferred full-time (38,5 hrs/week), part-time possible as well (32 or 36 hrs/week)

  • For this position, a minimum salary of € 3.000,- gross/month (for a full-time position with 38,5 hrs/week) is planned. There's the possibility of performance-based compensations (commission) for experienced candidates or more responsibility during the sales process 
  • Overpay is possible based on the relevant job experience and qualifications.
