As a Product Owner, you are the representative of the user/client within the product development process. We work in an agile setup (Scrum/Kanban) and you will play a key role in prioritizing and shaping the work and processes within our product development team.
Your Responsibilities
Gather data on customer’s needs, analyze them and translate them into product requirements for developers to work on
Own and prioritize product backlogs
Define personas, create epics and user stories incl. detailed specifications for product features
Specify test and acceptance criteria and test features and workflows
Closely collaborate within the product team with product management and software developers
Monitor and manage resources, velocity and sprints
Contribute to the product vision and roadmap
Act as an ambassador for the product internally and be the first point of contact for queries related to the product
Collaborate with other internal and external stakeholders
Create and own (internal) stakeholder documentation about the product
Job requirements
Skills & Requirements
2-4 years of experience in product owner or product management roles in software companies
A background in SaaS, eCommerce or technology is a plus
You are a strategic but also creative thinker with excellent organization and time management skills
You are passionate about solving problems and adding value to the customer with better products
You have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
Excellent German and English skills (C1/C2 or native)
Excellent skills in office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
Experience in working in or managing cross-functional teams
Experience with SCRUM or agile software development is a plus
Knowledge of technology platforms and multi-sided platforms is a plus

Location: Vienna, Linz, Bratislava; hybrid models or fully remote also possible
Minimum yearly salary for a full-time position (38.5hrs/w) in Vienna starts from 36.890,- € gross (IT KV, ST1 Einstiegsstufe). Overpay is possible based on relevant job experience and skills.
Flexible working hours: preferred full-time (38,5 hrs/w), part-time possible as well (32 or 36 hrs/week)
