As a Junior Business Development Specialist, you are part of our growing Sales team and supporting our revenue growth directly.  You are responsible for researching, contacting and consulting potential customers. Apart from that, you are educating the market on the importance of job board engagement platforms and the benefits of Software-as-a-Service. This role is an ideal entry position or accelerator for your future career path in Sales or to grow within and along a sales organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze and target potential clients (email, cold calling, social reachout and more) 
  • Plan and execute targeted sales campaigns
  • Organisation, moderation and leading online and on-site meetings
  • Presentation of Jobiqo's product and services portfolio
  • Conduct (online) demos through our software
  • Create and develop early stage opportunities on your own and support in late stage negotiations
  • Identify and own initiatives to optimize the business development and sales process with your colleagues

Job requirements

  • You are in the last semesters of your Bachelor Studies at an university (of applied sciences) or have already graduated
  • First experiences in sales, business development, account management or other client-facing roles are a plus
  • A background in SaaS, eCommerce or technology is a plus 
  • You are passionate about finding the right solution for potential clients and curious about their business and goals
  • You have excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills and are comfortable presenting and speaking in front of multiple stakeholders
  • You are a determined and energetic personality who embraces change and critical thinking
  • Ability to translate technical jargon into easy-to-understand business language
  • Excellent German and English skills (C1/C2 or native)
  • Excellent skills in office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Experience in managing contacts, leads, deals in CRM systems (i.e. Pipedrive, Salesforce) is a plus
  • Knowledge of technology platforms and multi-sided platforms is a plus

More details & Benefits

  • Start date: flexible, planned for summer 2022
  • Possible as a part-time (min 25 hrs per week) or full-time (38.5 hrs per week)
  • Minimum yearly salary for a full-time position (38.5 hrs per week) in Vienna starts from 27.272 € (IT KV, AT Einstiegsstufe)
